Shieldaig Stores supplies everyday essentials and is open 7 days a week throughout the year..

Smoked salmon is also available from the Loch Torridon Smokehouse at the far end of the village.

Lochcarron Food Centre is a well stocked Spar shop. There is also a small shop attached to Lochcarron Garage

There is a small Morrison's and a McColl's mini-markets in Gairloch and a butcher who delivers locally on Tuesdays..

Torridon Stores and Cafe and Applecross Village shop stock a wide variety of items.

In Kinlochewe there is a shop with the Post Office and a smaller shop attached to the garage.

Smoked products and shellfish can be brought in Kenmore

The nearest large supermarket is Tesco in Dingwall which is open until midnight each day.

Inverness has numerous Tesco supermarkets including one that you will pass on your way from the airport on the A96 and one just off the A9 at Inches near the hospital. There is a large Morrison's in the centre of town.

If travelling via Fort William, there is a Morrison's there near the station.

Kyle of Lochalsh has a Co-op small supermarket just before the Skye bridge and there is a small Tesco in Ullapool.

 

There is a cash point by the fuel pumps at Lochcarron Food Centre (fee charged).

The Bank of Scotland has branches in Gairloch and Kyle of Lochalsh  - both  have outside cashpoints.

There are Post Offices at Kinlochewe, Lochcarron, Applecross and Gairloch. There is a pop-up Post Office at Torridon Community Centre on Tuesdays from 11:00 to 13:00. Shieldaig shop sells basic stamps but postage can also be bought online through the Royal Mail website and you can then arrange for the local postie to collect parcels to big to go in the postbox.

There are numerous outdoor suppliers in Inverness. Nearer to home Shieldaig Stores sells maps and compasses. Torridon Countryside Centre stocks maps and local guides. 

 

The Old Coal Shed at Applecross, Loch Torridon Community Centre and many more sell art and crafts of all types.

There is an ironmongers in Kyle of Lochalsh. Farm and Garden Store in Gairloch and Lochcarron Garage and upstairs in Lochcarron foodstore also sell a variety of items.
